  Just visiting the area and randomly stopped off here; a good pint in a super beer garden that gets the afternoon sun.

  Really enjoyed our visit to The Hest Bank. Came for drinks with the family and had a great time. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and a really nice place to relax. Service was great and we’d definitely come back again.

  Food was really good, nice atmosphere with a friendly homely vibe. Had chilli corn and chips which was perfect. Staff always polite and service excellent.

  Came here for my birthday meal there was one particular staff that was very unprofessional maybe she was the supervisor or manager as she wasnt wearing any uniform the way she speak to you was really unprofessional ordering drinks and food she looked at you like you was dumb looking at us with a sarcastic luck at one point she had a go at one of the younger girl waiters which I thought was nasty. The young waitress was absolutely amazing and didnt serve the grief she got. Now on to the food it was disgraceful all plates was very greasy even my 1 and half year olds plate was filled with grease she had fish there was no fish it was just crispy batter so my daughter wouldn't eat her tea also my partner got fish and chips his fish was undercooked and ended up being ill. It was our first time here and heard it was supposed to be good but it wasn't for us I really do not recommend this place. Everything about it made us feel so uncomfortable the way we was spoke to and the way we was getting looked at all other staff was brilliant except from the woman behind the bar whi wasnt wearing uniform.
